Mandy would have been the female player of her time, renowned for her height, athleticism and being left handed also gave her a great advantage. Was an under 20 Country Championship All Star representative and was on the cusp of under 20 state selection in a time when the competition for spots was hard fought. Played her role on and off the court, serving on the committee at a time when the Association needed her experience. It would have been interesting to see how far Mandy could have gone, as she moved to Melbourne in her early 20’s and stopped playing.
