Jenny was the inaugural secretary of the Association and had a stint as President in 1980-81. Her relationship with the Basketball Association enabled the sport to be played at the new stadium. Jenny assisted many of the teams in the formative years with the rules of the game and taught the skills to many players, passing on learnings she knew of because of her role as a teacher.
